The Early Days A new chapter was being written in Joe’s life in unison with the upcoming optimism and change of the new millennium. Working as a real estate professional in Voorhees, New Jersey, Joe learned the fundamentals of real estate. And so it began. In the years that followed, it dawned on Joe that there were huge possibilities to innovate and advance the old standards of the real estate industry. On a cloudy winter day in 2001, a decision was made. Fueled in part by entrepreneurial seizure and in part by a realization that one different idea can make a difference- the journey began. |

| Humble Beginnings
Not long after completing Brokers school the company was born. It was July 2002. From a 12’ x 14’ room out of his house the accepted standards of real estate were about to be challenged. With a computer, a telephone, a fax machine, and a little bit of marketing know-how the evolution began. Client by client a “Class Act” reputation was built.
Growth Spurt
No longer able to operate as a one-man band, the company hired its first employee-an operations assistant. From there an unexpected by product of the company advertising program was that not only did it attract consumers, it had an impact on other area real estate agents. As more agents became inspired to join the company conducting day-today business from the dining/board room and tiny home office had become a challenge. After a major renovation to a long forgotten relic from Hammonton’s past, the company opened its Regional Headquarters at 527 12th Street in downtown Hammonton during late February of 2005.
A Bit Eclectic
Anyone who knows Joe understands his appreciate of history and fascination with “Cutting Edge” technology. Great measures were taken to restore the old cottage to its original luster. But if you look below the surface it has state of the art everything! A lot has changed in a short amount of time. The office has a full compliment of the finest area administrative staff not to mention a team of real estate specialists that are pushing real estate service standards to a higher level.
Priorities and Core Values After three years of exponential local growth, the budding firm discovered a singular glaring need to stabilize other area markets. Our Winslow Township office, operational in Fall of 2006 is the first duplication of the blueprint made successful in Hammonton. Plans are already on the drawing board to stamp the Joe Wiessner Realty brand in other Southern New Jersey zones. Each one of our affiliates will provide a systematic approach enabling agents to provide exceptional customer service. Raising the standards in real estate has been not only a top priority for Joe Wiessner Realty, but a source of pride as well.
Down on the Farm The firm was essentially created with a vision that not only was significant professional growth possible for both the company and its agents, but also inspired personal growth. The promotion life skills and balance are a big part of what the company is today. Somehow the growth aspect of real estate seems like a perfect fit for Joe. Growing up on Southern New Jersey peach farm, his grandfather first taught him to properly trim young peach trees when he was just seven years old. Using that lesson as a metaphor, Joe was taught the skills and values -patience, persistence, and creative thinking–that come into play on a daily basis at Joe Wiessner Realty. Those lessons drive Joe personally, too. Be it on the basketball court, traveling with his wife, Karen, or entertaining his two children Daniel and Karly, he still holds fast to the same core principles that characterized his youth and were instrumental in the creation of the company.
A Good Service Joe has always understood to listen closely to his customers motivations. He understands that every persons situation is different and its the details that matter the most. Over time that attentiveness has inspired other excellent people to join him. A team of the very best has been assembled. Great Buyers Agents, the best processors, and the always friendly and helpful frontdesk. The public has respondend. Everyone enjoys running with a winner and when it comes to large ticket items, say your home, it better be handled with the best advice backing you. And it is, today the company leads in the areas it chooses too. What a concept, friendly, fast, and pro service.
Over a 1,000 Transactions and Counting When you do over a 1,000 transactions you learn a thing or two and who benefits from that experience, EVERYONE! If you were getting heart surgery who would you go to, the med-school surgeon or the one who has done it thousands of times? Joe has seen all kinds of scenarios and situations in different property categories. He has the uncanny ability to anticipate future outcomes in advance. Its all due to his in the trenches experience.
What's Next More of the same. Joe keeps teaching his style of customer service and his team keeps building which enables the growth to continue. Two offices are open, both state of the art, one in Hammonton, the other in Winslow Township and their will be more, because the public wants more. And that's the key, provide a valuable service to the people and they decide who grows, and who dosen't. The free market has decided, the growth and strength will continue, and the work will be to keep pushing the envelop of top-shelf customer service and alas, great results for the customers.
