Villages at Crosskeys Townhomes for Sale
Three-level townhomes on Village Green and Farm Field, built 2014 to 2018 — garages below, laundry on the bedroom floor. Live from the MLS.
Living in Villages at Crosskeys
Villages at Crosskeys is the newest attached community in Gloucester Township, built from 2014 through 2018 on Village Green Lane and Farm Field Lane. Gloucester Township has a deep supply of townhomes, but nearly all of it dates to the 1970s and 1980s. A buyer who wants attached housing built in the last decade has very few places to look in this township, and this is the largest of them.
These are three-level townhomes and the layout is the current one throughout. The lower level holds the attached garage and a flexible room. The main floor is open — kitchen with quartz counters and an island running directly into the living space, with a deck off the back. The top floor carries the bedrooms, and the laundry is up there with them rather than in the basement, which is the single most useful change in townhome design of the past twenty years and the thing owners of older units miss most. Three and four bedrooms, two and a half to three and a half baths, roughly fourteen hundred to twenty-three hundred square feet.
The systems are the other real difference from anything older here. Tankless hot water, Energy Star heating and cooling, energy-efficient windows, programmable thermostats, 200-amp service, and at least one unit already carrying a 220-volt charger for an electric car. None of that is exciting to read about and all of it shows up on a monthly bill. A townhome from 1979 in this township can be renovated to look identical inside and will not perform anything like this.
Position within the community matters more than usual. The rows run in long parallel lines, so most units look across at the row opposite — but end units on the outer edges face a tree line instead, which is genuinely scarce in a townhome community and is what those units trade on. The western edge of the community runs along the Atlantic City Expressway behind a buffer, so the rows on that side are a different proposition from the interior ones. That is a walk-the-site question and it is worth asking before you fall for a floor plan.
The nearest comparison is Iron Gate, built in 2017 and 2018 on the same three-level format at a smaller scale. Buyers who want brand new instead of nearly new should see Chase Pointe and Little Pond, both still building. For everything else attached in the township, Gloucester Township condos and townhomes covers the full range.
A note on the address: mail here goes out as Sicklerville 08081, and Sicklerville is a post office, not a municipality. Villages at Crosskeys is in Gloucester Township, on Gloucester Township taxes and services. See Gloucester Township 08081 for the rest of this end of the township, and the recently sold homes for where these are landing.
