Oak Forest is the largest single community in Winslow Township, built through the 1980s in the Sicklerville section across Acorn Court, Belmont Court, Fillmore Way, Woodhaven Way, Oak Forest Drive, Cobblestone Court, Wilton Way, Leanne Drive and Fawn Lane. More homes trade here in a year than anywhere else in the township, which means two useful things: there is nearly always something to see, and there is a deep record of recent sales on these exact streets to price against.

Its size is also why it resists a one-line description. Oak Forest runs from two-bedroom homes to five, colonials and ranches and raised ranches and contemporaries, mostly detached with some twins in the mix, on lots from a tenth of an acre out past four-tenths. Two houses a street apart can be very different properties at very different prices, and a portal listing that says “Oak Forest” tells you almost nothing about which one you are looking at.

The detail that moves the needle most here is one people overlook: a good share of these homes have no garage. That is unusual for detached housing of this era, it varies house to house rather than street to street, and it shows up plainly in what they sell for. If a garage is on your list, filter for it before you fall for a floor plan. Everything is on public water and sewer, and there are no basements. For comparison, Arbor Meadows is the older ranch neighborhood nearby and Arden Forest the newer two-story one.
