North Cape May is the bay-side neighbor to the resort — an unincorporated community within Lower Township, spread along the Delaware Bay just west and north of Cape May City. It's the quieter, more year-round side of the peninsula, where the Cape May–Lewes Ferry crosses to Delaware and the bay beaches face due west into some of the best sunsets on the shore. No boardwalk, no high-rises — just settled residential streets a few minutes from both the bay and the ocean towns.
