Promenade Condos for Sale
Two-bedroom condos at Main Street, steps from Voorhees Town Center — live from the MLS.
Living in Promenade
Promenade — the Promenade at Main Street — is a condominium building within the Main Street community at Voorhees Town Center, in the commercial heart of Voorhees Township. It was built in 1988, which makes it the older of the two named buildings here — Piazza followed four years later, in 1992.
One practical note that saves a wasted lap around the block: the addresses read Main Street, but the entrance is off Kresson Road, with the building on the right as you come in. Buyers following the street address alone routinely drive past it the first time.
The units are built for easy living rather than for square footage. Recent sales here have been two-bedroom, two-bath homes in the range of 1,220 to 1,310 square feet, in both single-level flat and interior-row configurations, with open floor plans that put the living, dining and kitchen space together. Updated units show refinished cabinetry, granite counters and modern appliances, and the layouts are drawn so that both bedrooms are genuinely sized rather than one real bedroom and one afterthought. Garden-style soaking tubs, in-unit laundry, additional storage units and private balconies are part of the package, and the buildings carry intercom entry and indoor sprinkler systems.
The association maintains the landscaped common grounds, which is most of the appeal — the grounds here are kept up well enough that they read as a feature rather than an obligation, and there is walkable open space through the community itself. For an owner who wants to spend weekends somewhere other than a lawn, that is the entire proposition.
What sells this address is where it sits. Voorhees Town Center's shopping, dining and services are a walk from the door, with Route 73, Kresson Road and the routes toward Philadelphia and the shore immediately accessible, and Virtua Voorhees close by. Schools are Voorhees Township for elementary and middle, then Eastern Regional High School through the Eastern Camden County Regional district. Buyers looking at this price point should also see Britton Place and Heritage Grove, along with the township's full condo and townhome inventory and everything in Voorhees under $400K. The recently sold homes across the township are the clearest read on what condition is worth here.
