Piazza Condos for Sale
Elevator condominiums at Main Street, Voorhees Town Center — live from the MLS.
Living in Piazza
Piazza — more precisely, the Piazza at Main Street — is a mid-rise condominium building within the Main Street community at Voorhees Town Center, in the commercial center of Voorhees Township. The building dates to 1992, and its addresses run in the 6000s on Main Street.
This building works differently from anything else in the township. Two elevators serve the residences, entry is through a surveilled lobby where you grant access to your own visitors, there is garage parking, and the building holds a secure key-accessed storage room in addition to closet space in the units. For an owner who travels, who is downsizing out of a house, or who simply wants to lock a door and leave without arranging for anything, that combination does not exist elsewhere in Voorhees. Common areas, snow removal and lawn care are handled by the association.
The floor plans hold a genuine surprise. Alongside single-level condominiums of roughly 1,615 square feet with two bedrooms and two baths, Piazza contains bi-level units — three bedrooms, three full baths, about 2,210 square feet, with the living areas on one level and stairs inside the unit to the rest. A two-story apartment inside an elevator building is unusual anywhere, and it means "Piazza" can describe two quite different homes. Anyone shopping here should establish which layout a listing is before anything else.
Finishes across the building run to open living and dining space anchored by a gas fireplace, upgraded kitchens with new counters and stainless appliances, in-unit laundry, and balconies off the living area. Primary suites in the larger plans carry walk-in closets and en-suite baths with marble floors, stall showers, double sinks and soaking tubs. Because every unit shares the same build year, condition and layout — not vintage — account for the spread between listings.
The location is the point. Shopping, dining and everyday errands at Voorhees Town Center are a walk rather than a drive, with playgrounds and community park space nearby, commuter rail and bus service close, and Route 73, I-295 and the roads toward Philadelphia and the shore all easily reached. Buyers considering Piazza should also look at Promenade, the other named building at Main Street, and Hermitage just across the road, plus the township's full condo and townhome inventory. Schools are Voorhees Township K-8 and Eastern Regional High School. The recently sold homes across Voorhees show what this building actually commands.
Two Elevators. One Building.
Nothing else here is built this way.
