Manor Hall went up between 1971 and 1973 in the Sicklerville section of Winslow Township, and like several communities out this way it was laid out on a single letter. Every court here starts with M — Milstone, Memphis, Magnolia, Melwood, Manor, Medford, Marcia, Madeley and Maureen.

The homes are interior row townhomes, three bedrooms with a bath and a half, on public water and sewer, without basements or attached garages. That three-bedroom count is the thing worth noticing, because it is not what the rest of this price tier offers. Most of Winslow’s affordable attached housing is two bedrooms; Manor Hall gives you the third at roughly the same money, which is why it holds a particular kind of buyer — families who need the room and are not prepared to pay detached prices for it.

Turnover here is steady and the community is large enough that there is usually something available, with a genuine record of recent sales on these courts to price against. The association fee is modest and covers common areas, front lawn care and snow removal. Compared to Lehigh Manor, built two years later a short distance away, Manor Hall is the larger floor plan; compared to Kenwood, it is a two-story home with its own front door rather than a one-level flat.
