Primrose Gate went up in 1971 in the Sicklerville section of Winslow Township — nearly the whole neighborhood in a single year. It is one of the larger communities in the township and one of the busiest, so there is usually something available and a real record of recent sales on these streets to price against.

Two things make it worth a serious look. Four bedrooms is the standard here, not the upgrade — the bulk of these homes are four-bedroom, with fives and a six in the mix. And the lots are generous: a quarter acre is typical and a good number run past a third, with some over half. For detached housing at this price point in Winslow, that combination of bedroom count and land is hard to match.

Despite the single build year, the streetscape is not repetitive. Ranches and raised ranches, capes, colonials, bi-levels, splits and contemporaries all came out of the same builder run, so two houses on the same street can be entirely different homes. The addresses are almost all P streets — Pinewood, Primrose, Parkhill, Patricia, Penfield, Pershing, Peachton, Pittman, Price, Peoria and Piedmont — with Four Mile Branch the one exception, which is a handy way to know whether a listing is genuinely in Primrose Gate. Everything is on public water and sewer. For comparison, Oak Forest is the larger 1980s neighborhood nearby and Arbor Meadows the smaller ranch-focused one from the same era.
