Woodstream is one of the larger detached-home communities in Winslow Township, Camden County, spread across Woodstream Drive, Woodvale Drive, Oakton Drive, Windingbrook, Brookview, Bromley Court, Hunters Court, Horseshoe Court, Lily Court and Wakefield Road. Colonials dominate, with ranches, traditionals and contemporaries mixed in — three bedrooms is typical, with fours throughout, and basements and attached garages are standard.

The community was not built in one pass. The bulk of Woodstream went up in 1986, with a second phase through 1996 and 1997 and a handful of later infill. That decade between phases shows up in layouts and finishes, so two homes here at similar prices can be ten years apart in age — worth checking the build year before comparing anything. Lots run from about a tenth of an acre up past a fifth, and everything is on public water and sewer.

One thing to settle at the start: every address in Woodstream carries an Atco 08004 postmark, but the community sits entirely within Winslow Township. Atco is the Waterford Township post office — a separate municipality. Homes here pay Winslow Township taxes, use Winslow Township services and attend Winslow Township Public Schools. It is the single most common misunderstanding about this end of the township. Nearby Ivystone and Waterford Green share the same 08004 mail, and Woodstream sits between them in age and price.
