Foxboro Townhomes for Sale

Mid-eighties townhomes and twins on Cherry Circle, backing open farmland — live from the MLS.

Living in Foxboro

Foxboro is an attached-home community in Blackwood, part of Gloucester Township, built in the mid 1980s around a single long loop — Cherry Circle — on the eastern side of Blackwood. The loop is the community: it opens off the main road, runs the full length of the neighborhood and returns, with no through traffic and nowhere for a shortcut to go.

The most important thing to understand before you shop here is that Foxboro is not one product. The community carries both interior-row townhomes and twin, semi-detached homes under the same name and on the same street. A twin shares one wall and typically comes with a private driveway and its own yard; an interior row shares two. Layouts run to three bedrooms with a full bath upstairs and a half bath on the main level, a living room, dining area and eat-in kitchen, with an attached garage. Those are genuinely different houses at genuinely different numbers, and a search that treats them as one category will show you a price range that makes no sense until you know why. Ask which you are looking at — it is the first question here, not the last.

That distinction also has a practical search consequence worth naming. Many home-search tools filter attached housing by property type, and twins frequently fall outside the condo and townhome buckets entirely. A buyer working a portal can look at Foxboro and see only part of what is actually available. It is the kind of gap that is invisible until someone who works the MLS directly points at it, and it is a good argument for not shopping a mixed community from a filter alone.

The setting is the quiet draw. The eastern edge of the loop backs onto open cultivated farmland, so homes on that side look out at working ground rather than at another roofline — unusual in a township this developed and immediately obvious when you stand there. The interior of the loop is mature by now: forty years of trees, established plantings, and lots that have had time to fill in. Sidewalks were built in from the start.

Because the whole community went up inside a few years and much of it has been held since, condition is what separates two otherwise identical homes. Roofs, heating and air, windows and kitchens have been replaced on different schedules, and some homes here trade specifically as projects for a buyer willing to do the work. Others have been kept up carefully. Both come through this loop, and the difference between them is not something a square-footage number will tell you. For a wider set of attached options in Blackwood, see the full condo and townhome inventory, along with Knoll Run and Oxen Hill. The largest attached community in the section by a distance is Valleybrook. Buyers who decide they want detached after all should look at Chestnut Glen.

Schools follow the standard Gloucester Township path — the township district through the middle years, then the Black Horse Pike Regional district for high school. Records here name one or the other, which reads like a split and is not. On location, this side of Blackwood puts you close to the Blackwood–Clementon corridor and a few minutes from Route 42, which is the short way to Philadelphia and the quick turn toward the Atlantic City Expressway. The recently sold homes across Gloucester Township are the clearest read on where these are actually landing.
