Post-war ranchers and bungalows off Kings Highway South in the 08034 section — live from the MLS.
Kingsway Village occupies the 08034 section of Cherry Hill Township east of Kings Highway South, on a loop of streets between Munn Avenue and the North Branch of the Cooper River. The streets are Edison Road, Churchill Road, Shepherd Road, Stanford Road, Caldwell Road, Plymouth Road, Park Circle and Winding Way. Edison Road is the spine — it runs the length of the neighborhood and carries more of the housing than any other street in it.
The build date is the story, and it is a remarkable one. Eleven of the twelve houses in the recent record were built in 1945. Not the 1950s, not a phased build-out over a decade — one year, at the very end of the Second World War, which makes Kingsway Village older than the vast majority of the township and one of the few Cherry Hill neighborhoods that predates the postwar suburban boom entirely. It was already standing and occupied while most of what is now Cherry Hill was still farmland.
What 1945 built here was small and it was all on one floor. Ranch/Rambler is the style on nearly every record, with a Bungalow variant mixed in, and two bedrooms is the norm rather than three. Bath counts are mostly a single full bath, occasionally with a half added. These are compact houses on modest lots, and that is the neighborhood's identity, not a shortcoming — it is also increasingly rare stock, because single-story living is exactly what a large share of buyers are hunting and very little of it gets built at this size anymore. Township-wide, the ranch home searches turn up nothing else with this concentration.
The practical consequence is that Kingsway Village is the most accessible entry point into an 08034 address anywhere in the township, with the bottom of its range sitting well below where the rest of this ZIP starts. Cherry Hill runs deep in both directions, and this is the floor — the entire neighborhood falls inside the under-$400K searches, which is not true of a single other detached neighborhood in 08034. One later house, a 1971 Traditional on Stanford Road, is the exception that proves the rule: infill on a lot the original build skipped.
Street names to keep straight, because this corner of the township is crowded with them. Kings Highway South runs the western edge, which is a different road from the Kings Highway North that borders Kingston Estates, and "Kingsway" is a third unrelated name that also happens to be a regional school district several towns west. Munn Lane West and Pearl Croft Road sit off the southeast corner, putting the western streets of Barclay a short walk away, and Hunt Tract is just past Brace Road.
Schools are Cherry Hill Township Public Schools. Kings Highway South runs you straight down to Haddonfield in a few minutes and north to the Route 70 and Route 38 corridors, and the I-295 interchange sits east past Cuthbert. For a neighborhood this affordable the location is genuinely central — you are closer to Haddonfield's downtown from here than from most of Cherry Hill. The recently sold homes across the township are the clearest read on where this tier actually settles.
