Mid-sixties detached houses off Chapel Avenue in Cherry Hill's 08002 — live from the MLS.
Windsor Park sits in the 08002 section of Cherry Hill Township, south of Chapel Avenue and east of Cooper Landing Road — the older, denser, western half of the township rather than the wooded 08003 side. The streets are Valley Run Drive, Windsor Drive, Brookline Avenue, Rhode Island Avenue, Royal Oak Avenue, Ridge Circle, Haverhill Avenue, Orchid Lane, South Forge Lane and Mackin Drive, on a compact grid with sidewalks and street trees.
Almost the entire neighborhood went up in 1965, with a handful of earlier houses from the mid-fifties and a few filled in around 1961 and 1964. That concentration is the defining fact here: this was built as one development in one push, and it reads that way on the ground. The standard house is a three- or four-bedroom running between about fifteen hundred and two thousand square feet, with one and a half to two and a half baths. Styles run Colonial, Split Level, Bi-Level, Ranch/Rambler and Contemporary — the full mid-sixties suburban vocabulary, distributed across the same street grid.
The scale here is the real differentiator, and it cuts both ways depending on what you want. These houses are meaningfully smaller than what the 08003 neighborhoods offer, and the lots are tighter. What you get in exchange is position. The Cherry Hill Mall, the Chapel Avenue retail corridor and the Route 38 and Route 70 interchanges are all minutes away, and Cooper Landing Road runs straight down to the Route 295 and Philadelphia bridge approaches. For a buyer who wants a detached house with a yard and a genuinely short commute rather than maximum square footage, that trade is the whole point — and it is why this part of the township holds value even when the larger houses east of here get more attention.
These are detached fee simple houses on their own lots with no homeowners association — no fee, no architectural review, no shared common area. At sixty years old the tree cover is mature and the neighborhood has settled into itself. Buyers looking at this part of 08002 usually also walk Erlton and Barclay, both nearby and built in the same general era, and the choice tends to come down to street feel and lot rather than product.
Schools are Cherry Hill Township Public Schools, and this side of the township feeds Cherry Hill High School West — consistently, across the records here. East-or-West is the first question asked about any Cherry Hill address, and in a lot of the township it takes an address-by-address check; on this side of Cooper Landing it does not. One search note worth carrying: Knollwood sits immediately northeast of here in 08002, and there is a second, unrelated Knollwood Drive over in 08034 — two different markets that share a name, so key the neighborhood rather than the street. The recently sold homes across Cherry Hill are the clearest read on where this tier actually settles.
