Carrefour Homes for Sale

Late-eighties contemporaries on Marlton's larger parcels — explore the latest live from the MLS.

Living in Carrefour

Carrefour is a small detached neighborhood in Marlton, built between 1987 and 1989 on Quaker Street, Wildcat Avenue, Hawk Lane and Owl Court. Three and four bedrooms, two and a half baths, single-family throughout, on public sewer. It is one of the last neighborhoods Marlton put up before the eighties gave way to the nineties, and the architecture reflects it — predominantly contemporary, with a few traditionals, rather than the colonial-heavy streets built a decade earlier.

The land is the headline. Lots here range from roughly a fifth of an acre to better than four tenths — from about 8,800 square feet up past 17,800 — and that is the widest spread of any Marlton neighborhood we have looked at. Two houses of the same size and vintage can be sitting on double the ground, one against the other, and in a neighborhood this consistent on the building side, the parcel becomes the main thing separating one address from the next. Read the lot line before anything else here.

Carrefour is genuinely small and it does not list often. Its era peers in the township are Briarwood, built just after it and larger, and Westbury Chase. When nothing is showing here, the wider four-bedroom homes search covers the same buyer township-wide, and the homes on an acre or more search is the next step up for anyone drawn here specifically by the land.

Schools are Evesham Township School District K-8, then Cherokee High School through the Lenape Regional High School District — two separate districts, which routinely catches buyers arriving from a town that runs one. For where a neighborhood this thin on volume actually trades, the township's recently sold homes are a better guide than waiting on the next Carrefour listing.
