Forest Hills Homes for Sale
One of Monroe Township’s largest neighborhoods — explore the latest from the MLS.
Living in Forest Hills
Forest Hills is one of the largest neighborhoods in Williamstown, Monroe Township, built mostly between 1969 and 1980 with a small run of infill later on. The streets keep the name honest — Black Oak, Red Oak, White Oak, Pin Oak, Aspen, Holly, Hemlock, Balsam, Redwood, Mimosa and Briarwood, with Forest Drive running through it. Nearly every street here is named for a tree.
The housing is varied in style but consistent in scale. Colonials dominate, with ranches, splits, bi-levels and contemporaries alongside — four bedrooms is typical and attached garages are standard. Basements are the variable: some homes have one, some do not, and it is not predictable by street or by year, so it is worth confirming on any specific property. Lots run a quarter acre and up with a handful considerably larger, and everything is on public water and sewer.
Size is its own advantage here. Forest Hills turns over enough that there is almost always something available, and there is a deep record of recent sales on these exact streets to price against rather than comps borrowed from a mile away. That makes it one of the more straightforward neighborhoods in the township to buy or sell in. For similar-era alternatives, Coventry Glen leans ranch and Chelsea Farms leans bi-level.
The Streets Keep It Honest.
Nearly every one is a tree.
