Hello, My name is Baseemah McDaniel and it is my pleasure to be of service to you. 

Who am I? I was born in Atlantic City New Jersey and attended Catholic school until the fifth grade.  On my 11th birthday, my family and I relocated to sunny California.  After graduating high school, I moved back to South Jersey, got married and had 4 beautiful children. During this time, I worked as a Front Desk Manager for Trump Marina Hotel & Casino.  Shortly after the birth of my fourth child, my family and I moved back to Sacramento, California. It is safe to say that I call both New Jersey and California home. 

During my time in California, I was fortunate enough to attend American River College and The University of California, Davis where I studied Sociology and History.  Being a mother to four young children and a college student was challenging, but I proved to be built for the pressure.  In 2012, my family and I returned to South Jersey I worked for Atlantic City Board of Education and the Pleasantville school district.  After four years of working within the educational system, I began my work with Atlantic County Government, joining the Family and Community Development team.

One of my life’s greatest accomplishments are my children.  I have 3 daughter’s and one son.  My oldest daughter is a college graduate (23), my son is an active-duty member the United States Navy (21), my middle daughter is attending classes in the medical field, with dreams of becoming a nurse (19) and my youngest daughter is a junior in high school, with hopes to attend college for interior design (17).  Raising my children has been an experience of a lifetime.
