Bi-levels and colonials on curving streets between Springdale Road and the Pennsauken Creek — live from the MLS.
Point of Woods fills a deep block of the 08003 section of Cherry Hill Township, east of Springdale Road and running back to the South Branch of the Pennsauken Creek. The streets include Birchwood Park Drive North, Forest Hill Drive, Strathmore Drive, Westbury Drive, North Green Acre Drive, Brookville Drive, Hilltop Drive, Karen Drive, Lucille Lane, Anders Drive, Roberts Drive, Darien Drive, Huntington Drive, Lisa Lane and Greentree Road along the north. The eastern streets back onto the creek's wooded corridor rather than onto other houses.
The housing came up mostly in a single push. Point of Woods built out around 1970, with the record running from 1967 into the mid-seventies and one later colonial from 1986 filling a lot the original build skipped. Two forms dominate and they sit side by side on the same streets: Bi-Level and Colonial, with Raised Ranch, Split Level and Ranch/Rambler variants mixed through. Several records carry hybrid designations — bi-level contemporary, colonial traditional — which is what a 1970 builder called modern.
Sizes here run wider than the uniform neighborhoods of the same era. Three to five bedrooms, two-and-a-half to three baths, and square footage from just under 2,000 up past 3,400 — so the neighborhood holds both a starter-family house and something substantially larger without leaving the same street grid. Bi-levels with finished lower levels are common, which adds usable space that does not always show in the above-grade figure. A number of lots carry pools, and the pool home searches will find them faster than driving will.
The school answer is clean, and in this township that counts for a lot. Point of Woods sends to Cherry Hill High School East, uniformly — every listing across the neighborhood carries it. Cherry Hill is split between two high schools and it is the first question asked about any address here; there are neighborhoods where the answer changes street to street, and Northwoods carries both. This one does not have that problem. Families who have settled on East and want mid-size stock generally tour it against Old Orchard and Woodcrest.
One search trap worth knowing. Birchwood Park Drive North is entered into the MLS four different ways — spelled out, abbreviated as Birchwood Pk, truncated, and once as Birchwood Court. It is the street carrying the largest share of the neighborhood's housing, so a search keyed to any single spelling returns a fraction of what is listed. Greentree Road frontage addresses also land under this neighborhood's name, and Greentree is the northern boundary of Lakeview as well, so a Greentree address needs the subdivision confirmed rather than assumed.
Schools are Cherry Hill Township Public Schools. Springdale Road runs the western edge, Kresson Road sits south, and Route 70 with the Route 73 interchange is a few minutes north — central to the eastern half of the township with no through traffic on its own streets. The recently sold homes across Cherry Hill are the clearest read on where this tier actually settles.
East, Every Street.
No line runs through it.
