Deux Mare is a small enclave in Washington Township on the Sewell side, built between 1989 and 1993. Two streets — Wendee Way and Jamie Drive — and that is the whole community. Colonials, four and five bedrooms, two to three and a half baths, on public water and public sewer.

The land is what puts this address where it is. Lots here run from about half an acre to better than three quarters, which is a different category from most of what this township offers — the strong established communities sit closer to a quarter or a third. Only Bon-Aire works on comparable ground, and Deux Mare is right behind it at the top of the market here.

Understand what small means in practice: this is a handful of houses, not a subdivision. Sales here are rare — often a single home on the market at a time, sometimes none for long stretches. If Deux Mare is specifically where you want to be, watching a portal is the wrong approach, because by the time a listing is publicly visible it already has attention. The upside is that the few comparable sales that exist carry real weight when it comes time to price one.

One practical note for anyone shopping here: confirm the garage and basement on the specific address. The homes in Deux Mare are not perfectly uniform on either, which is easy to assume away in a community this size and at this price point. Crossroads and Bateman Farms are the closest comparables in the township for size and standard.

Schools are Washington Township for the whole township, which means Washington Township High School — one district throughout, so there is no sending-district question at any price point here. The township's recently sold homes are the place to see how the upper end has been moving.
