Winchester Farms Homes for Sale
A small late-1980s community in Washington Township — explore the latest live from the MLS.
Living in Winchester Farms
Winchester Farms was built in 1988 and 1989 in Washington Township, on the Sewell side, along Williamsburg Court, Oxford and Alexandria Drive. Three and four bedrooms, two and a half baths, colonials throughout, with garages on every home and basements on most.
The single build window and the single style make this an easy community to compare within — what separates one listing from another is condition and size rather than vintage or product type. Lots run around a quarter acre to a third, which is solid ground for a late-1980s planned community here.
Two things worth confirming on the specific listing. Basements are on most homes but not every one, which is easy to assume away in a community this uniform. And at least one address here is not on public sewer — most of Winchester Farms is, so a septic arrangement on the specific property is exactly the kind of thing that gets missed.
This is a small neighborhood and very little turns over in a given year, though a meaningful share of what exists here can be on the market at once. If Winchester Farms is where you want to be, hearing about a listing early matters more than watching a portal.
Schools are Washington Township for the entire township, which means Washington Township High School — one district throughout, so there is no sending-district question here. Twin Ponds and Wedgewood Greens are the other late-1980s communities on this side of the township, and Bateman Farms came a few years later on similar ground. The recently sold homes are the best read on where this end of the market sits.
Williamsburg. Alexandria. Charleston.
Colonial South, all of it.
