Silver Springs Homes for Sale
Three-quarter-acre lots in Washington Township — explore the latest live from the MLS.
Living in Silver Springs
Silver Springs is a small community in Washington Township on the Sewell side, built in the mid-1990s along Dressage Drive. Four bedrooms, two and a half baths, colonials, with garages and full basements. Public water and public sewer.
The land is what puts this address where it is. Lots here run right around three quarters of an acre, which places Silver Springs in the small group of Washington Township communities working at that scale — Shadowbrook, Lansbrook, Holly Grove, Bon-Aire and Henley. Most of this township is built on a quarter acre or less, so this is a genuinely different kind of property in the same school district.
Unlike Lansbrook, which is on well water and septic throughout, Silver Springs is on public utilities — you get the large lot without the inspections, testing and ongoing responsibility that come with private systems. That distinction matters more than most buyers expect when they start looking at acreage in this township.
This is a small neighborhood and very little turns over. When something does list here it draws the buyers who have been watching the upper end of this market, because the supply of three-quarter-acre lots in Washington Township is short and well understood by the people who want one.
Schools are Washington Township for the entire township, which means Washington Township High School — one district throughout, so there is no sending-district question at any price point here. Hill Crest and Deux Mare are the other small high-end addresses in the township. The recently sold homes are the best read on how the upper end has been moving.
Belmont. Derby. Churchill.
Three racetracks, one neighborhood.
