Stockton Run Homes for Sale
One of the newer single-family communities in Monroe Township — explore the latest live from the MLS.
Living in Stockton Run
Stockton Run was built in the early 2000s, most of it 2002 and 2003, in Williamstown, Monroe Township. The community runs along Stockton Loop, Stockton Drive and Pickwick Drive. Four bedrooms is the standard, with two full baths and a half, and the houses are colonials and traditionals. Public water and public sewer.
What sets Stockton Run apart from most of the township is that garages and full basements are standard here, not optional. In the older Williamstown communities both are a coin flip — Scotland Run from the late 1980s has plenty of homes with neither, and even Schoolhouse Gate a decade later is not uniform. Stockton Run came late enough that the builder was putting both in on every house, and that consistency is a real part of why it sits where it does in the market.
This is one of the stronger addresses in Williamstown for resale. The homes are larger than the township average, they are two decades newer than the bulk of the housing stock, and the lots hold up — roughly a quarter acre up to nearly four tenths, with the bigger parcels on the Stockton Drive end. For a buyer coming out of an older four-bedroom in town, this is usually the move up rather than the move over.
Schools are Monroe Township, which means Williamstown High School — one district for the whole township, so there is no sending-district question to sort out the way there is in a lot of Gloucester County. If you want to see how Stockton Run stacks up against the rest of the township, Hunter Woods and Newbury Farms are the closest comparables by size and vintage.
