Twelve Oaks Homes for Sale
Four-bedroom homes on third-acre lots in Monroe Township — explore the latest live from the MLS.
Living in Twelve Oaks
Twelve Oaks sits in Williamstown, Monroe Township, on Bonnie Blue Circle, Butler Drive, Gable Court and Twelve Oaks Drive — the streets are named out of Gone with the Wind, right down to the community itself. Four bedrooms is the standard, two full baths and a half, colonials and traditionals with a contemporary in the mix. Garages, full basements, public water and public sewer.
The build history here is worth understanding, because it is not what it looks like from the street. Most of Twelve Oaks went up in the early 2000s, but a second wave arrived in 2018 — and those newer homes are scattered among the older ones rather than set off in their own section. Butler Drive has one house from each. That means two homes on the same block can be fifteen years apart in age and finish, which shows up in what they carry.
The land is consistent, which is not something you can say about much of the township. Lots run right around a third of an acre with very little spread from one address to the next — no fifth-acre parcels hiding among the bigger ones the way there are in some of the older communities here. Combined with the four-bedroom-and-basement standard, that puts Twelve Oaks near the top of the Williamstown resale market.
The comparable addresses in town are Tall Oaks, on half-acre lots from the late 1990s, and Stockton Run, built in the same early-2000s window with the same standards. Tweed Farms and The Preserves are the smaller communities on similar ground. Schools are Monroe Township throughout, which means Williamstown High School — one district for the whole township, so there is no sending-district question here.
Butler. Bonnie Blue. Gable.
