Blue Heron Pines, built around one of South Jersey's best-known golf courses, is among the most sought-after addresses in the township. Established communities such as Society Hill, Quail Hollow, and Mattix Crossing round out a deep roster of neighborhoods, while the housing stock spans everything from new construction and condominiums to single-family homes and country properties on an acre or more. Families in Galloway are served by the Galloway Township Public Schools for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, with students continuing on to Absegami High School — located in the township itself — for grades nine through twelve. Absegami is part of the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District, which also operates Oakcrest and Cedar Creek High Schools. Buyers in the western part of the township should note the district's school-of-choice option, which allows some students to attend Cedar Creek High School in neighboring Egg Harbor City.
